#TAHAJJUD PRAYER – ISLAM PEACE OF HEART

It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said: After the obligatory prayers, the most best prayer is the middle part of the night means “Tahajjud Prayer”.It is narrated from Abu Imam that the Messenger of Allah said: You must recite Tahajjud, Because this was the way of the righteous before you. This is the special means of nearness to Allah SWT. This prayer is to remove the evil effects of sins and prevents from sins. In this incident, four characteristics of Tahajjud prayers are mentioned:

• It has been in the routine of the righteous servants of Allah since ancient times. 

• It is the means to attain nearness to Allah and to be close to Allah.

• It is the expiation for sins and its effect. It has the property of preventing sins. 

• The Dua of the one who offers this prayer is accepted.

It is narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said: May Allah’s mercy be upon this servant who gets up at night and offers Tahajjud prayers, He also raised his wife and prayed. If she doesn’t wake up because of sleep deprivation, So put water drops on his face and wake him up. May Allah have mercy on the servant of Allah who woke up at night and also raised her husband and then prayed. If he does not get up, put water drops on his face and get up. To understand this incident, it should be borne in mind that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to his Companions: He used to hear about Tahajjud prayers from Rasoolullah and after seeing Rasoolullah he used to believe what is gained from Tahajjud and what a loss it is to lose. This was the case with the common companions and companions despite the difference in rank. Therefore naturally each of them is eager and greedy for this wealth. This may be due to the fact that one night a husband’s eye will be open at night and a wife’s eye will not be open. Or if the eye is open and it is still taking, then the awakened person should pick up the sleeping one. If he is not ready to get up at this time because of the dominance of sleep due to laziness, then because of love and relationship put drops of water on his mouth and wake him.
