It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said: Fasting is half patience. There is zakat on everything and the thing that purifies the zakat of the body is fasting. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Aafah that the Messenger of Allah said: The gold of fasting is worship, Its silence is glorification, This process is popular. 
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah said: On the Day of Resurrection, a gold plate will be kept for the fasting people on which there will be fish. The fasting people will eat from it and other people will watch. Abu Sulayman narrated from Ahmad ibn Hawari that he heard an excellent hadith from Abu Ali. It is said that on the Day of Resurrection, food will be kept for the fasting people from which they will be eating and other people will be derived from understanding. Allah will say: They fasted for a while and you did not fast, They keep on praying and you keep on sleeping. It is narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: When the fasting people come out of the graves, the fragrance of musk will come out of their mouths. A meal of heaven will be brought before them Of which they will eat and be in the shadow of the Throne. Sufyan ibn Ayyina said, “I have been informed that the things with which a person breaks his fast will not be accounted for.” According to the narration of Abu Huraira, he gives up desire and food and drink. Fast is a super shield.There are two joys for fasting. One happiness is at the time of Iftar and the other happiness is at the time of meeting the Lord. The smell of the mouth of a fasting person is more pleasing to Allah than the smell of musk. It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: Fasting is the super by which the servant escapes from hell. According to the narration of Sayyid ibn Jubeer, Ibn Umar said: I don’t care what I leave behind in the world. If there is grief, then fasting at noon and going to prayer at that time. Abu Hurayrah said: This is the narration of the Messenger of Allah: Whoever fasts supererogatory for the sake of Allah, and in return he gets gold all over the earth, Even then, it will not be fulfilled before the Day of Resurrection.
